Come on FLHD, you have to agree that there are similarities between the management style and attitude of Di Canio and Lennon. Both men hey results based more on the way they motivate their players and maximising whatever skill those players have. On paper, Newcastle have a better team, but Sunderland are going to win because they just wanted it more. Same when Celtic beat Barca. I'm not a Celtic fan and I don't personally like Lennon all that much, but I'm prepared to accept his management strengths, as I am with Di Canio.

I know it's an internet forum and fair and reasoned debate isn't always preferred, but sometimes you have to be balanced about these things.

To be honest, the only reason why I seem to be defending Lennon all the time is because I think the anti-Lennon sentiment on here is far too extreme. I just don't see it. Yeah, he's a twap, but does it matter if he's fighting on your side?
