I ain't saying that Ten Haag is the best manager in the world, nor am I saying he has the capability to make them a top side again.

However, I think we're all aware that the problems at United run much deeper than the managerial position.

They have a huge fan base, and they'll continue to generate revenue from it. However, on the pitch they're way off, nor are they fully utilising their capacity.

As previously mentioned, they have an expensively formed squad that's way off where it should be, an ageing stadium and a hierarchy who know sweet FA.
