The RS are +1.

Napoli beat them 1-0.

Ergo the RS need a two goal victory to go through, either on head to head or on GD.

Any other 1 goal victory for the RS is not enough.

Think people were saying that as regardless of GD, a 2 goal victory sees them through. The way the games went tonight means the 1-0 win comes back into play.

Maths not your specialty, Khal? Don't forget, they're playing each other. A goal for the RS means a goal against for Napoli, squaring the GD.

I wish you were right but have a look at the criteria again. As far as I can work out, if it finished 2-1 to the RS then they would qualify via rule 3. If it finished 1-0 then both teams would be equal in rules 1-5 but the RS would qualify via rule 6. I'd be happy to be wrong though.

1. Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
2. Goal difference in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
3. Goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
4. Away goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
5. Goal difference in all group matches;
6. Goals scored in all group matches;
7. Away goals scored in all group matches;
8. Wins in all group matches;
9. Away wins in all group matches;
10. Disciplinary points (red card = 3 points, yellow card = 1 point, expulsion for two yellow cards in one match = 3 points);
11. UEFA club coefficient.
