6 yellow cards for liverpool
will they get a fine for that? you normally get a fine in the prem if your teams gets 5
Unfortunately not, according to the criteria. 1-0 would be enough and they would go through by way of rule 6.As far as I know, based on what I have heard and read, the RS need to win by two goals.
Is this not so, Lou?
If this has been the case the whole time, not sure why for weeks people have been saying Liverpool would need to win 2-0, bit annoying really

Nope. 1-0 win would see an equal H2H, same GD but Liverpool would have scored more goals so go through. It is true.
I am looking at the table right now.
Napoli are +3 on GD.
The RS are +1.
Napoli beat them 1-0.
Ergo the RS need a two goal victory to go through, either on head to head or on GD.

Think people were saying that as regardless of GD, a 2 goal victory sees them through. The way the games went tonight means the 1-0 win comes back into play.If this has been the case the whole time, not sure why for weeks people have been saying Liverpool would need to win 2-0, bit annoying really
A 1-0 win for the RS would see them go through Khal. GD would be the same for them and Napoli, it then goes on goals scored, the RS have scored more goals out of the 2 in the group.

Any other 1 goal victory for the RS is not enough.
I wish you were right but have a look at the criteria again. As far as I can work out, if it finished 2-1 to the RS then they would qualify via rule 3. If it finished 1-0 then both teams would be equal in rules 1-5 but the RS would qualify via rule 6. I'd be happy to be wrong though.Nope.
See my post above, Mark.
Or better yet, look at the table.
1-0 ain’t enough![]()
Maths not your specialty, Khal? Don't forget, they're playing each other. A goal for the RS means a goal against for Napoli, squaring the GD.
