Whilst we can whinge all we like about points we didn't get, I'm sure pretty much every team could (apart from Leicester who have maximised their potential). Martinez has now spent the last 3 games saying what we should have got. If we could convert chances, concentrate at corners and he could see that the keeper is over the hill we would be in the Top 4. That's not bad luck.

so looking at the table, the 6 points we've thrown away in the last 3 games (palace was to do with luck rather than stupidity), we'd be 4th on goal difference. talented squad, which are going to continue to frustrate me all season i think. Tired of saying "this was the season that was there for the taking". One positive is that the gap is still small, but we've drawn against all 3 promoted teams, that's proper mid-table stuff.

This, the other teams' results just make it even more frustrating. 72 points this season might win the bloody league ffs
