I generally will watch most games and unless I have a vested interest in that it could affect Everton then I will cheer for our potential benefactors
Subliminally in all other matches I guess I will prefer one team over the other on the flimsiest of pretexts!

Havnt got Sky Sports/BT, so I dont. That being said, when I get them 24 hour day passes when Everton are on, it is a treat to watch other matches.

But when I did have it, just got bored by it. Too much of anything can kill your enthusiasm for a sport I guess.

Also, my second (genuine) side play in red, so perhaps my dislike of the RS doesnt extend to the colour.

I find I have to support one team, or dislike the other, to really enjoy a game even if it is due to the flimsiest of pretexts.

I find I have to support one team, or dislike the other, to really enjoy a game even if it is due to the flimsiest of pretexts.

Yeah, but sometimes not giving a monkeys can actually make a game more enjoyable in a way. Like the Cup final last year. Was ace when Hull were 2 up after 10 minutes, but the Arsenal comeback made it one of the best finals for ages. So didnt really care that Hull lost, but didnt really care that Arsenal won it either.

Unless it directly affects us, I am just not that fussed.

But Arsenal winning did affect us...it gave us direct Group entry into Europa

Wasn't it slighly better for us that Arsenal won anyway due to the Europa league qualifiers? Might have that wrong, always get confused about the order of the Europa league.

That match was a great one, could see reasons to support both teams!
