True story

One weekend about 2 years back, Everton were away and I couldn't get a ticket and the match wasn't on TV

Normally in that situation, I'd head to Stockport County for a match just to get my football fix, but they were also away that day

I noticed the nearest club to me who were at home, were Macclesfield Town so I enquired on their website and thought about going. Didn't go in the end, but I still get emails from them with fixture information

Poor buggers, I almost feel like I should go to one match at least now, just to put some money in their coffers

Anyway, tangent over
