He played for england schoolboys because he went to school in england but he never qualified for the full intertnational team.

His choices were between wales and sierra leone (where his dad was from).

he obviously regretted that decision. it is no way harsh mate, he didn't play a friendly for about a decade and when he did play he flattered to decieve. was more interested in keeping ferguson happy. bale plays for the biggest club in the world and you don't see him refusing to play.
