Del mate, you go on about the money thing too much. At the end of the day, if Rodgers gets Liverpool CL footie this season, you have to say he's a damn good manager. I know we don't like the RS, but results are all that matter. Personally, I hope they fail terribly, but as I said in a previous post, I suspect that Satan will not let his spawn slip up twice in two seasons.

And like I said, Lets wait until the end of the season before you closet Kopites start drooling over the fish faced whoppers pipe

We went on a horrible run. We where actually ahead of them 2 and half months ago. It's a transitional season for us while we find our best team/formation. We're getting there.

well i hope you're right but I'm not sure why we needed to transition out of last seasons very good form/tactics.

After spending 250m

Or did Courtino/Markovic/Lallana/Sturridge/Henderson/Moreno/Can and Mignolet come free in a packet of cornflakes
On paper, the quality (not price paid) of the two teams is pretty similar (imo). But performance wise, Rodgers has kicked Martinez's butt. The League table does not lie. I only hope this is a temporary thing and Martinez re-finds his management mojo next season.

Right but forgetting money...

Liverpool are more or less where you'd expect them to be with the squad they currently have - rodgers doing decent job on the pitch (maybe not in terms of transfers)

We on the other hand are miles off where we should be with our squad - martinez not doing such a decent job on the pitch.

West Ham and Southampton are doing fine having not spent millions...

Liverpool were second last season they then spent close to 100 million net and they're 7th. They're back to flirting with fourth yet Rodgers has somehow turned that into a massive success. Arsenal won, if United and Southampton win 'der best performance of der season' won't count for anything. Really they're playing catchup to Arsenal and United, both of whom have better fire power. You can never discount the dark powers of Liverpool but you would hope Arsenal and United would win enough home games to close it out. Glad we 0-0d them now. Will love it if they miss by a point or two.

Miles? Nope

Our squad is mince ffs

Our back four is ageing and our attacking players are frigging awful Kev aside

It really baffles me why blues think our squad is good

we challenged for 4th last year...

do you remember the ole football against arsenal at goodson ?

what about us taking games to arsenal and united away ?

i find it hard to believe that everyone has just become old and [Poor language removed] in the space of one summertime.

sometimes mate, you act like a bit of a plonker.... Just because people hold opinion different to yours, does not make them kopites

Everyone of there forward players would start for us, Everyone of them

Tbh that is the thing that frustrates me the most about this season. I don't think Martinez did change our tactics at the start of the season, just some players had awful form and we were hit by injuries that gave us a crisis of confidence.

You could argue it took Martinez too long before he switched tactics to a more defensive approach.

the £250m thing is the weakest excuse about given who they spent it on. In terms of talent their squad isn't that much better than ours, ours was just cheaper.

I would say we have pretty even squads man for man but they are a better team at the moment, why are they the better team ?
They have a better team because of Coutinho, Sterling and Ibe. We are better or as good everywhere else. That's my issue with Martinez - I'm still waiting for that signing that makes me think wow. Maybe it will be Henen in a couple of years or even Rafael Silva but I'm a bit concerned after missing out on Gil.
