Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Do every game mate, for my sins.

Our fans are the best in the land for how little success we’ve had like. Last won something in 1973, last in Europe in 1974. Yet we sell out every away basically, and get 40k+ at home regularly in the top flight and broke attendance records in League One for every season we were down there.

I can't agree on the best fans mate

Weve been starved of success to

But I've seen your ground half empty mate In past and away support

We've ALWAYS sell out away

So don't agree!! Lol 😂

To be clear I wasn't even comparing us to you lot. You've have been far far more successful then us like. Won the cup in the lifetime of a huge chunk of your fans. Top 4 before, european football regularly, even a league title in the lifetime of loads of your fans. I'd hardly call that starved of success from my vantage point - although it might feel it now though I appreciate. And you quite rightly have the fantastic support to go with such a magnificent grand club imo.

I'd say for a team with our lack of success (nowt in literally 50 year, no league title in 90 years, dropping to the third division recently, and yo-yoing across the leagues loads) there's nobody comparable with our support.

I also don't think it's fair to say we only have good support when we're doing ok like, even when we were rotten in the PL with those "half empty stadiums" we still averaged 45k - which at the time was the 6th biggest in the league. And we always sold out away ends (the only time we haven't really was in league one with some mad games to Chelnham on a week night for the 3rd year running and stuff) - in the top flight we've always sold out our away allocation like most teams.

But attendance chat generally is fairly boring and I know I'm on an everton forum talking about Sunderland too much about us - I won't be posting anymore after this I promise!

You're most welcome on here as far as I'm concerned mate.
