Today’s Football 25/26 Season

I’d usually agree. But West Ham and forest are in false positions with the squads they have as well. I think they are right in the [Poor language removed]. They were awful tonight.

Don't disagree, as long as we're not the ones giving them a leg up.

But, the choice of watching one from Leeds, Forest, West Ham or Spurs drop is absolute manna from heaven.

You would have had to burn down Goodison to relegate us. I suspect Spurs might simply slip away in the coming weeks if they're not careful. There is no anger, fury, or passion in their fans. Just entitlement and acceptance. They've sleepwalked into this and don't know they are in a world of trouble.

West Ham, Forest, and Leeds will smell blood in the water.
Entitlement is the very word. False entitlement at that.

To be honest, as entertaining as it is to see the entitled see how the other half lives, there's something a little sad in seeing four big clubs - Spurs, Leeds, Forest, and West Ham - struggling as woefully as this. It's testament to the strength of the smaller clubs - Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford - and how well they have been run, but when the bigger clubs are as woeful as these, what chance anyone really challenging the likes of United, City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea?

Reminds me of how the Bundesliga has been hollowed out. People lament how Bayern can dominate so easily, but that's what happens when Leverkusen and Leipzig are left to mount the charge when Hamburg, Bremen, Schalke, Hertha, Gladbach, and others spend years in the second division. The Freiburgs and Mainz's, marvelously run as they are, won't be beating Bayern even in their great years.

Still...with that said, let's all laugh at Spurs. Particularly Spurs.
