I agree with you there then goes to var

But at least city won hahaha slot.
Hahahaha.Has anyone told the BBC? MOTD have done their best not to mention it.
What have you done with davek?Have you noticed after every Liverpool defeat Sky/TNT/BBC always get a stat to show how incredible it is that Liverpool have been beaten?
Also, have you noticed when we win they always come up with an unflattering stat to try and belittle us?
They can take theirleague and 'spectacle' and stick it up their arse.
I just hope we get into Europe next season to be clear of it for a load of matches.
This match of the day coverage is vomit inducing. You’d think no one had ever scored a free kick before.
Someone needs to show them Baines
V Newcastle
It’s fine to just acknowledge it was a great free-kick.
Really? It’s up there as one of the best ever. Distance, bend, had everything. It is a good free kick but BBC and Sky have gone way overboard on it.
Don’t understand the confusion about the city goal at all, it’s quite clearly the correct call. If haaland had picked it up and run with into the net would we still be saying they cancelled eachother out? It’s exactly the same thing. Seems like one of them situations you get once a year or so where people lose their minds and start arguing about the rules when they realise the offside rule isn’t ’one Defender and the keeper’.
No I get it from a sort of natural justice perspective, it’s just that that isn’t how the game works. I think there’s an argument that there should be an equivalent to a penalty try in football, so deliberately cynical acts like that one get punished with a goal, but the fact is there isn’t so you can’t really just referee the game as if there is. Like I said, what happens is basically the same as if haaland had punched the ball into the net after being given the advantage, I just don’t see how there’s any genuine debate, you can’t allow a goal where a player has blatantly deliberately fouled an opponent to prevent them from clearing the ball (and he was clearly getting there let’s be honest). I hate VAR but it’s funny that the one decision that’s got people freaking out about it is one that’s 100% the right call.I guess for me it’s that it’s a certain goal as haaland has outpaced szoboslai and is about to run it into an empty net
Szobaszli cheats and clearly denies what is going to be a goal
In retaliation haaland pulls him back
The ball ends up in the goal, and it’s hard to tell if the defender was going to catch the ball anyway
Just give the goal
