Today’s Football 25/26 Season

For me the ref used his common sense, let it play out, and that's that. Attempted denial of goalscoring opportunity ended up not mattering. For VAR to then stick their oar in is just another demo of their overreach.

Without the first foul the second would not have happened unbelievable decision not to give the goal, in my mind the game finished 3-1 City and Liverpool are seventh in the league. Sometimes a defeat for Liverpool is not enough for me..Good evening lads.

When you get fouled you don't have carte blanche to do whatever you want while the advantage is being played. Haaland fouling him back doesn't make letting the play go on the correct decision.

To be fair to the t**t that is pawson, I think everyone would have seen them battling and going at each other whilst the ball was trickling in and thought….. just allow the goal.

I think everyone saw it and would have hoped for same outcome….

Only VAR gets involved when it doesn’t need to.

But on the other hand that arrogant, over hyped, greasy rat also goes missing for 3 games.
It was blatant and intentional shirt pulling not battling in some sense that is allowable within the game.

We see that shirt pulling from corners etc all the time…. Same thing.

Just give the goal and get on with it.

Slobber only out for 1 game it seems

It's not the same thing though right? It isn't and I think you know that.
Regardless not one single person would have had any kind of complaint about that goal had it stood. Maybe except for uncle fester who now realises because it was disallowed they are 6th and not 7th 7th 7th…. 7th I think he said.

VAR had no reason to get involved in my opinion.

They both had a go at each other, it wasn’t going to affect the outcome.

i think if the ref or liner had given the foul from szobaslai and disallowed i would have thought it was daft, but whatever

its the fact that var feel the need to intervene, no one would have complained had they not. how can you watch that kind of chaos which makes football so exciting and go ‘hang on lads, these two fouls cancel each other out, we’ve gotta overrule this’

It wasn't going to effect the outcome isn't how rules are supposed to work
