I know you lads are a bit upset at the moment, but ;

1. At no point on Wednesday night did you look like beating a Villa side that barely got out of second gear.

2. Tonight's Arsenal 'winner' : it's a clear handball....not chest, thigh, earhole or arsehole....handball.

Always thought if your arm is down by your side,( and as long as you don't purposely lean towards the ball) it's not classed as handball.

Only in 'defensive phase' - the laws as applied in the 1870's still apply. You can't score with your hand/arm....unless your Diego Maradona or Thierry Henry.

Ha, well I certainly know we're all dissatisfied with his title challenge.

I have watched a few of there games this season and have come to the conclusion that they are nearly as crap as us.

1. We could have easily beat them but I think it's more of a reflection of how poor we are in front of the net atm. Villa definitely were not up to it and still won which reflects the gaps in quality atm. If Dom was half arsed I think it is a massively different game though. He just isn't a threat to put even sitters away.
2. Agree on the handball. Clear as day. Could have easily kept his arm on the side.

Its not even that it was a terrible decision to sell him because he was getting older and we got a decent fee

The problem was we replaced him really badly and massively weakened the team.

He’s not too old for Villa!

I'm sure enough people on here have worked out where my loyalties lie.

For what it's worth, I regard it as a privilege to come onto other club's fans forums and engage in meaningful and intelligent discourse (hark at me !)

But as it happens, the only 2 non-Villa sites I actively post on are this one, and the KUMB West Ham forum. I find other clubs sites or forums are full of self absorbed bell-ends. I try and and judge a fans forum site by analysing the posts and thinking, would I want to have a beer with these fellas....so there you are.
