I appreciate there'll be considerable derision directed at me for saying this, but I reckon Chris Wood is a better goal scorer/centre forward than Eton Dom. I confess, that as a Kiwi, I might be a little biased, but Wood does appear to know where the back of the onion net is, more-so than DCL.

Scored what looked like a tap in with nonchalant ease. Knew where where the gap would be based on the keeper getting sucked towards the ball. Dom would have sent a full power left foot thrasher straight into the crossbar and bemoaned his luck.

Would have been much easier if Dom hadn’t had his Ancelotti purple patch, then we wouldn’t have wasted years trying to make it happen again.
