You seem to be missing that both of them can't win that game... if Southampton win, Bournemouth are in trouble and Southampton are in trouble. If Bournemouth win, Bournemouth are safe and Southampton are in trouble... not sure in what world we want Bournemouth to win that game.

True enough. He did enough for me to love him but frustrated the life out of me.
I suppose we all accept the reason he was sold while at the same time shouting that the grass isn't always greener etc.

How is Southampton winning and being on 27 points, level with Forest and a point behind us and Leicester...a good thing?

Southampton, Forest, Leeds are the 3 teams you want to get bare minimum of points for us to have a chance of survival IMO.

You seem to think Bournemouth won’t get another win between now and the final game. If they do, which is likely, they will be on 36 points. Can’t for the life of me work out how we get to to 36 points.

Southampton, Forest, Leeds are the 3 teams you want to get bare minimum of points for us to have a chance of survival IMO.

It would be ideal for us for Bournemouth to get dragged back into this mess because of their abysmal GD. Just like with Saints, Forest, (and maybe Leeds) we would only have to equal their point total to survive as opposed to actually finish on more points. Unfortunately, with 33 points currently, they’re almost safe already, and we would almost have to hope they don’t pick up a single additional point this season for that scenario to work out.
