Rodgers can't maintain it. He's a charlatan - he can con his players only for so long.

He was always going to do well for around 18 months.

That said, yes, he's a more proven and probably better manager than Silva.

I suspect you won’t meet with much disagreement on that call. Silva is younger and whilst as yet he hasn’t torn up any trees he seems very popular with the Goodison faithful. Moshiri appears to have picked a good ‘un (finally!)

Pellegrini got knocked out the cup 4-0 to Oxford mate which if he was our manager he'd be slated for, he drew away at Bournemouth which again there would probably moans about.

The leagues over for us already mate Im only interested in the cups going forward.

If falling into the bottom 3 now gets Silva the boot quicker than it happening in say Xmas with less time of the season left then I would rather it be now than it drag on.

Things certainly aint improving thats for sure.

I didn't see the Leicester game but my goodness is 5 goals from 13 shots absurd. I know this site doesn't really like anything to do with stats but that kind of efficiency is rarely sustainable. This kind of run might be enough to get Leicester top 6, especially cause United and Arsenal are a bit crap, but I still don't think they are really playing at a level that should have us going "Why aren't Everton doing that?" every time they win.
