Like it or not Rodgers is a very good manager. Seems to get his team's playing good attacking football. I remember thinking that after we got rid of koeman we should have considered going after him when he was a Celtic. Despite his past Liverpool connection we should still have considered him.

What really irritates me, as well as saddening me, is that there is no plausible reason why we can't be in third place, given the fixtures we have had and the players in our squad.
This must surely be on the minds of Moshiri, Brands and Kenwright. If it isn't, then they aren't doing their jobs properly.

I certainly expected Everton to be top 6 given the fixtures.

Top half would be poor but typical.

15th, or 2 points above the basket case of Newcastle is simply catastrophic.

Changes are needed.

Leicester made the change mid season last year and got a very good manager (not one I'd want here tbf).

Now they are reaping the rewards and look a top 6 team. Their midfield recruitment has been excellent too.
