He’ll have to get Bournemouth into the CL before some cretins on here take notice of what an exceptional manager he is.
He's Martinez mark II. He can generate some really great attacking sides but they have yet to be anything like decent defensively since he joined and that will prevent him from ever being a top manager.

Depends on the clubs ambition. But, in theory, loads of people,
literally loads, would be an improvement on MS.
I agree but most of them are at clubs and will not be keen to leave midseason to be thrown into the fire here. It's just not a great situation for a manager and most will say no.

He’s a good manager nothing more, he’s in a deep comfort zone though, he and they were quick to reunite after he bombed at Burnley, none of the top 6 will take a chance on him

He's made major strides shoring up the D the past couple years, yes having Ake (who is miles better than anyone we got) helps but they are much more defensively sound and still play decent.

We could do much worse.

If Bournemouth nick a goal here against West Ham (as they deserve) they’ll be 3rd with a fifth of the season done.

You criticise them defensively, he’s working with Simon Francis and Steve Cook at CB ffs! He’s had them since he brought Bournemouth up from League One. The guy is delivering miracles on a pittance. Bournemouth should be slogging it out down the bottom and they aren’t even close, they’ll finish top half this season.

This season, he’s had a lad from Luton at full back and Aaron Ramsdale in net. I’m not surprised their defence is a bit naff.

Literally everyone on here, to a man, has slated him every time i’ve suggested him. Mark my words, he’ll get a top six job before long. If we snag him now, on an upward curve before Poch leaves Spurs, then we’ll have done VERY well.

And they're still conceding tons of goals so they will not be third at the end of it. I don't care who his defenders are his teams cannot defend effectively. They could have Mings and Are but he messed it up.

Spurs will go backward if they appoint him but I think they're smart enough not to.

I'm not sure that conceding 70 last season suggests that he has.
