I've seen a few of the warm stella can holding england fans stick their head above the parapet just before this world cup, this coming after a couple of tournaments of relative quiet from the patio furniture botherers.

I'm curious to see just how many will be cheering on Henderson and the boys, the best way to decide this, a poll with leading options obviously.
 

I hope we entertain and don't embarrass ourselves (fans or players).

I hope captain gurning Henderson doesn't get a game. I can't enjoy watching the overrated chimp* jog about with his elbows around his ears bashing balls out of play.

* I can call him this because he's pale skinned. Should I ever clumsily refer to a player who is dark-skinned as a chimp, please remember this post. It's not racism, its a comment on their intellect.
 

Back in the day, I was fanatical about England.

These days, I’m happy if we put in a good showing and progress to a respectable stage of the tournament. It’d be nice if our team were Henderson-free as well.

Will be looking forward to Brazil just because they are Brazil.
Wouldn't mind seeing Messi getting a winners medal to top out his career.
Spain look like some team.
The Germans are the Germans and usually find a way.
France, who knows.
Don't think Belgium have enough depth.
In my view England are in the group beneath this lot.
