i hate him listen this is how it is ok moyes come in and got us from the [Poor language removed] pile we were in i give him that some people on here do my head right in going on about moyes done this great job for us what has he won we had a very good finish when we came 4th i give him that 1 but every season after that we have gone 1 or 2 places down from the season before even my wife said that and she knows fu ck all about footie my sons sunday leauge manager plays better tactics than this tool i have heard he loves himself at our great club and he thinks he is the man sorry you dick but enough is enough do 1 to the mancs your head might fit in round there

I'm not by any mean a Moyes hater in any capacity - I just question his judgement from time to time. No one on this planet is above reproach everyone is fallible and Moyes proves that. Alex Ferguson even gets it wrong now and then but he's still regarded in the highest esteem much like Moyes is as pseudo apprentice of his.

The man clearly has his faults and on days like today they are there for all to see. But we know over the years his better judgement out shines his ..more cloudy ones :)

There are times, I look around, realistically at the merry-go-round of managers in this league that would be available to us and I for one minute wouldn't replace him with the likes of Alrdyce, Pardew, Hodgseon, Houiller...
:D

Thing is though, its been said before but if Moyes did go we'd lose a lot more than a guy who looks tactically naive on match day.

I believe he does way more for this club than just make crap substitutions and play players out of position.

So while if he did go we could quite easily replace him with a more tactically astute manager on match day we risk losing a lot more from the day to day running of this club.

Of course there is a risk in keeping him and a risk in replacing him.

We dont have the money to get rid of him anyway.....

This is my problem with Moyes, and it's why he's essentially got our balls in a vice.

He is a genius in the window, make no mistake. £ for £, I can't think of a better manager in the transfer market.

On the pitch though, sometimes he's just shocking. And most criminal of all, he always lacks that plan B. The plan B is one of the most crucial things in football. Sometimes I feel like Moyes may as well send the team out at kick off, and then go into the stands, because what he does in between the first and last whistle is so predictable anyone could do it for him.

It's a catch 22 anyway. Lose Moyes, and get someone else in, and then what? I reckon most managers could get more out of what Moyes has assembled than he does, but then most managers wouldn't be able to build on it, or cope with our empty piggy bank.

I've give up posting on here, as I completely understand the "Moyes or Bust" philosophy of most and that's fine.

But I will say this - I told you so.

I wonder how many people, after seeing Moyes field a side with no strikers yet four on the bench, make two "attacking" substitution in the final 5 minutes and yet again not make a substitution before the 60 minute mark will think back to a week ago and wonder "Gee, maybe Moyes isn't the second coming after all!"

The result against Man City papered over the many cracks we have at Everton right now, and tonight we simply saw reality - a talented bunch of players completely hamstrung by a manager who thinks small time. We need a manager with a bit of bottle and the desire to have a go, not simply consolidate and hope against hope to overachieve.

Read through and weep - http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/32379-Moyes-hater§ ;)

So you gave up posting but came back to say told you so after four points from two away games?

A bit over the top and tittish is it not?
