Ticket prices

Few clubs charge thier own fans the same price as they charge visiting fans.
That can be justified (somewhat) by the fact that they are in different parts of the ground and have different views / facilities but that is not the case here. In this case it is the exact same seat being charged for at different rates simply based on who you support.

Exactly as it should be. If we could charge visiting fans £500 a seat I'd be delighted. I wouldn't be half as happy paying that myself.

I do understand the OPs point but we don't know if Everton fans are being charged a pound extra or did Sunderland receive a one pound discount?
I would imagine the most likely scenario is that Sunderland received a discount for bulk buying which can't be afforded to fans that buy single tickets. Either that or inflation kicked in somewhere between offering to Sunderland fans and Everton fans. Or they made a mistake in the pricing, either too little for Sunderland fans or too much for Everton fans. I don't see the point in getting all upset until you find out the reasons. Have you tried to find out the reasons?

I have had a response from the Club, apparently the information is incorrect and that they prices for Sunderland fans were the same price as we would pay for the Upper...........close thread!

The price differential of a quid to a visitor should not matter much. Take city away, two prices (42 & 40) , our lads are scrambling to get their hands on one, don't think they care about the odd couple of quid, they would snap up either one! Same seat prices for all would iron out this confusion. Understand the argument but If I was able to get a much needed ticket last minute (and it was a quid more) it wouldn't bother me one bit!

Can anyone tell me how Spurs is a category D game and Wigan is a category C game??

cos there SH*TE mate! Can only think its because its on a sat afternoon just before christmas and Everton don`t think it`ll sell out cos everyone either be skint or out shopping for presents. As i said before my friend who works for john lewiss can get tickets for this game for £15 each as many as he likes so they must not be expecting it to sell out. tickets are for upper bullens.

I'm going across the pond to see the Blues play Chelski. Ticket price will be about...?
