This transfer window as it now stands

In a pinch, Neville could cover for Baines.

I hadn't realised until those 2 games at centreback that he was so comfortable with his left - almost favouring it.

All we need is

one f**king right midfielder. thats it. Hibbo and Neville covers RB. Osman is below Everton standard. enough said. Yak is soon back.....rodwell is our next rooney..(not in sprit)...jagielka is my hero and is back in Oct.... the sun is shining...and where is my glasses?

Can I make one simple observation - I have spent more on my holidays this summer than Everton have in the transfer window.

Forget Deadline Day. It's Barclay's Bank Day.

£25M in for Lescott, £13M-£16M spent by Moyes.

Happy days.

It's up to me to run the club properly? Ok yeah. We have one of the smartest bears in the woods in Robert Elstone conducting business. Who am I to question his and his predecessors expertise?

But that's just it, you do question it, each and every day on here. It's the easiest thing in the world to take pot shots at people. Offering up better alternatives is considerably harder.

I dare say Danny and Dylan would get pretty hacked off if people here constantly moaned about how they run the place, especially if when asked for constructive feedback they responded with "well I'm not the forum admin am I?"

I appreciate full well that we're neither paid to improve the club or privvy to the information and resources required to make a decent stab at it, but you could at least pay lip service rather than this constant drip, drip, drip of criticism.
