Dont your going to get everyone mad . We won yesterday lets just enjoy it like .

agreed , i must say what i posted is only a niggle/concern at the back of my mind and not my main priority as an everton fan today.

im still over the moon with yesterdays happenings.(y)

It's his original budget, he should be entitled to it. We'll only be in a similar position to what we where going to be in anyway (before Lescott was sold) and we'll also improve the squad.

If we somehow pull off this Banega loan then we may not need to spend our original budget.

We won't be doing any leeds, it's far from it. Heitinga should be worth at least 8m, we manage to negotiate a cheap deal.

Now let say we up his wage to 65k pr week, a difference of 15k over 12 mths will be 180k pr year, multiply by 5yrs contract will be 900k. Still worth all the money. That's not a lot isn't it?

Regarding transfer fund. This is what I believe.

6m was bid for naughton, which is our available transfer target.
13m loan was secure.
lescott was sold for 24m

our total transfer budget should be 43m.

You could also say we bid £12m for Defour and the same for Gago from Real and that was before we sold Lescott, unless they where bidding with money we havent yet got..........

So for me I make it at least £36m.

Spent it.

Does that transfer budget include wages? signing on fees? transfer fee installment payments? agent fees?

I'm not sure about wages though, I reckon our wages will be balance using league and cup money, together with ticket sales.

Transfer budget should be everything about signing of players and yes it should include sign on fee and agent fee.

One thing I am suspicious is that our 13m loan might be use to feed immediate interest repayment. Hope my theory is bollocks.

Well we know that there is a structure in place. We know we don't pay our players massively high wages, we also know that the Heitinga deal is down to terms, and a figure of around 50k a week has been mentioned as not enough.

So logic will tell you that we don't want to upset the apple cart, and why should we.

Our players with the exception of one are happy to play for the club. They may not be so happy if some Johnny new player comes in with high demands.

It's all about getting value, and Moyes doesn't want to be stung again by what happened with VDM.
who?
