Distin & Pienaar, primarily.

Lol you make it sound like that's the norm.
I'd be very surprised if we sold Fellaini and bought an older player like Distin or Pienaar with the money. Even if it was as well as another player.
Its very rare he does that nearly always buying decent younger players... Pienaar for example. £2mil in his 20's.
The only one I could possibly see would be Landon but that is highly doubtful.

We're already bossing the city. If they went 2 up any other time we'd have been buried. That comeback told our players, and thiers, we've got nothing to fear at all. Believe me we get lucky with injuries we'll finish over 10 points ahead of them and start the cycle what befell us in the 90's.

Im an Evertonian, I expect to be let down, but somethings changed.. Im not a kid who hasnt seen us great, I have, but I dont expect us to lose right now. If the ball goes through to our striker for a one-on-one, its not Beckford Etc anymore.. Its Jelavic.. I dont expect him to miss.. Mirrallas isnt Billy Etc.. I could go on as Im sure you all could as well...

I hate to talk Red on this site, I really do, but its part of the change I believe.. Its my attitude thats changed. The sh*te are, and have been just that, for a while now, the Semi last year still rankles and I hope Moyes feels the same.. BUT this story, whether true or not could be the game changer for them.. Suarez to leave in January..

"If name on Suarez-City story is Daily Express's Paul Joyce then you can guarantee that story is correct. @philmcnulty 1 hour ago"

Something wasnt right the other day with that celebration, we all saw it, but take him and an ageing ( I still want to play for Mourinho, quote this week as well ) Gerrard out, and we could boss The City once again..

Now Is OUR time..

Please Everton, just for once, dont let me down !

COYB..

I imagine you giving this speech bare chested and on the back of a horse

It's about belief, confidence and momentum.

Fantastic 2nd half of the campaign last season with the only real blot being that day at Wembley....the day when we were in absolute control until an untimely error by a player who is otherwise a model of consistency occurred. Even the two derby losses, whilst horrendous, didn't detract from our supremacy in terms of seasons points haul ( without the 6 they took from us they'd have literally dropped off a cliff).
Pre-season cancellations was a god-send, as was the lack of a long haul traipse to the States.
Player up-heavily was minimal, and in fact positive with the departure of 'Our Jack' massively outweighed by the arrivals of Jela, Super Kev, Gibbo, Nais and Stevie P full term over the previous January and then Summer windows. Even the departure of The best little spaniard we know was progression....it took away our reliance on him as the only technical player in the side. Losing Tim was saddest for me because in terms of his impact over his time here he was, for me at least, a modern day hero, a true Blue....but whilst it was sad it signalled the Gaffers acceptance and desire to play football to entertain....the confidence was all through the Club, especially with Moyes....the acquisition of The Boss Slotter saw to that in my opinion.
And now, with the exception of the 'blip' at Leeds (which was just one of those nights), and the loss at WBA ( which was a really tough game) we've been flying. But for some very unfortunate decisions that didn't go in our favour several of the draws could and should have easily been wins....an additional 4-6 points at this stage wouldn't be a misrepresentation of our play, our dominance in games, our creativity and of course our resilience to come from behind in 6 games on the bounce.
The momentum continued this week with Leon, Seamie and Tim Howard all being lauded as MOm's in their respective international matches....how sweet it must have felt for Leon at 31 to be so warmly received by the normally derogatory press.

The confidence is clearly oozing in abundance from Finch Farm....and with that comes a feeling of 'together we are invincible".

If the momentum continues then surely we'll be needing to nip round to the Pit to borrow the Brasso they no longer need, and surely the hallowed pot of Gold the call the Champions League is definitely within our grasp.

Of course there'll be a few hiccups on the way.....but make no mistake, we're on our f'kin way!

Forget about the red scum, in regards to ebepton there's nothing better than actually being able to say "WE R FECKIN ACE M8" and it being a fact.

Long may it continue.
