Things i've learnt from the Everton forum today.

We never should have started referring to ourselves as "The School of Science" again after just one season. It was too soon

As far as everything else, it's only one game and it's early in the season. I'm not running for the lifeboats just yet

Don't write off our SOS revival after just one game of the season either, we're still about three games into our pre season, the first team played their firs 10 minutes together this weekend such has been the quality of our preparation, but it will not take long to get back to where we were.
That being said, we started with 3 draws last season and many were gutted, I'd certainly take that right now :)

Lads, I put this weekends results through a complex algorithm and it turns out we'll yield a pretty disappointing return and fail to improve on last season's tally.

Now, clearly Martinez has to go. But I'm even more concerned at the fact that Chelsea and Burnley aren't even destined to take the field at all this season. What happens? Do they even survive? I don't know, but I'm filled with dread.

I'd take that league table right now to see Newcastle, West Ham and Stoke relegated.

- Lukaku was a total waste of £28m
- Barkley is out for at least 5 months, he'll never be the same player
- Besic should hang his head in shame for putting Barkley out for months as it was defo him
- Our season is basically over

Anything i've missed ?
ahah

Yeah stones is pooh!

Watched it, had more clue what you were talking about before I did lol.. What is that madness?
It started by taking the piss out of a girl with terrible spelling for something she posted on t'internet. Sorry I didn't check the link I assumed it'd explain!

1. We can't defend corners (opponents get there first).
2. We never score from our own corners (opponents get there first).
3. We always struggle with teams who play hoofball.

I'm really worried about giving Chelsea any corners. I think they're likely to score 50% of the ones against us.

We struggle against any teams that play really direct. Our fullbacks get caught so far forward and have a hard time getting back. That said we'll be much, much better with Coleman. I wouldn't worry about it unless he gets injured again.

I don't think it's really Stones' or even Hibbo's fault. They just aren't those type of attacking fullbacks. Luckily we have Oviedo who definitely is and Garbutt from what I've seen of him on the other side.

But we should have got Yedlin - we really missed out there. Or even the RB for Costa Rica who only cost 1.8m and I think Yedlin was only a couple. It made no sense giving Hibbert another 2 years.
