2025/26 Thierno Barry

The desperation in this thread really is pathetic. He couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo

The lad had a decent game today. Worked hard, linked up play well.
There is a player, in there.
I think as his confidence grows he will get goals.
At the end of the day, the lad is 22, playing in a new country and adjusting to the physicality of the Premier League.
The type of player, years ago, you would have taken a chance on from the lower league.
Not his fault that he is living in an era of a vastly inflated transfer market.

Im not buying the new country and age thing as an excuse I'm afraid. Look at Jude Bellingham going from Championship to Bundesliga. Lots of young footballers move and make instant impacts. What is true is adapting to a tough league irrespective of age or nationality and working to a new managers systems. Lad done ok today. Said before though, he'll never be prolific.

Moving to a new country is hard and harder the younger you are. That's pretty uncontroversial I would have thought. Just because some make an instant impact doesn't mean everyone will and there have been lots that look poor initially and become good players.
