For me it was more about defensive strategy than forward play. We are already dire at set pieces, and although Kean is bigger and stronger than Sidibe, his inexperience cost us for their goal. Richarlison was a huge miss not just for his forward play, his defensive work is amazing at times.

Fair enough...I was replying only to a comment about Theo playing through the middle.

I think the team did quite well given the depletion.

Delphs moronic tackle that lead to freekick didn't help matters.

Ancelotti has come out mentioning Walcott and Delph as experienced players who should lead by example.

This wont end well...

I think with Theo because he started playing when he was 16, he's more like a 34 or 35 year old winger now. No wonder Arsenal were happy to sell him. Was it 20m pounds? Is anyone willing to pay that now?
He' still quick though, it's everything else that lets him down

An I only the only person who thinks Walcott has been really good since Ancelotti took over?

He’s been really good if you freeze the tv and walk away after someone finds him in space.

Still makes very intelligent runs and gets in great positions, but his decision making and final ball are poor.
