he mis-controlled it with a very heavy second touch and then should have squared it. He got lucky with his shot (as everyone does sometimes) but he's just not a good footballer either physically or (perhaps more importantly) mentally

DCL is doing so much work for the team that the least a player could in that position would be to square it. Walcott rarely passes, how many times have we seen him take a shot from a bad angle rather than criss it.
