That shiz is weak.

It works on a much smaller scale (Baltimore can stand in for urban America, but New Orleans is such a sui generis town that it can only ever be New Orleans) but it works, and it helps answer the question that The Wire left hanging in every viewer's mind: What if Lester Freeman were a Mardi Gras Indian? And, of course, the music's superb.

Haha without knowing much about america to be honest i would have to take your word on that - but the music, yeah, so so good. I was singing Indian Red for weeks afterwards

Love Khandi Alexander in it and Wendell Pierce's character is even better than it is in the wire.

Wee Bay is a class character. Liked the final shot of him and Chris in the jail running things. The scene where Bunny visits him is a memorable one as well.

Absolutely - another great scene where he cops to several murders once he knows he's getting life regardless.

For me it’s the best TV series that’s been made. Seasons three and four are some of the best television you’re likely to see.

I liked the respect they had for each other. Would have liked to have seen them together more. Did like the prison scene

I only watched it, for the first time, this year.

The second season feels so authentic, I just loved every single moment of it. Without thinking, these are my five characters:

Marlo
Bodie
Bubbles
Ziggy
Duquan

My absolute favourite, stand out scene is the opener to season four, Snoop buys a nail gun.

This here is a gun powder activated, 27 calibre, full auto, no kick-back nail throwing mayhem.
