The way we attack

I think our main problem so far this season and in general is the way we attack. Slow build up with passing the ball left to right, till we cross it.
The only problem with it is we can't cross for [Poor language removed]. Hibbert is aweful, Pienaar hits it to long constantly. Never put in the right place. Arteta never beats the 1st man.
Look at UTD 2 goals last week, Thats how you cross a ball.
We never play a ball inside or EVER give the likes of Beckford a ball to run at the defence, its all out wide. An SLOW. we really need to work on our attacking and creativity.

Too predictable?

Everyone knows that the baines/pienaar partnership is our biggest threat, so opposition can favour closing down these two when moyes persists with no pace and no threat (ossie) on the right. It was clear to see we were stifled today.
Much rather see heitinga at right-back, with coleman on right of midfield. We need to mix it up, get some pace on right, and play two up front at home against perceived weak teams.
I read the posts on here all week, and we all know that moyes will persist with the same come kick-off next week. Again!
BTW, can Gueye play right mid?

100% true mate. The only players that can cross are Baines and Bily...and Bily never plays.

Im sure the team are told not to cross. 90% of our freekicks today we played short or floated in a rubbish cross. Newcastle on the other hand had Barton who whipped in crosses and freekicks all day and caused problems.

We've stopped crossing the ball...and when we do, they're terrible.

I think if you'd just tell Bily to do what Beckham used to do...anywhere near the box, whip in a ball. Sadly it will never happen.

We have NO creativity at all. It's all long and hopeful balls. Right now i dont even see where our next win is coming from? I'm even dreading the Brentford game, thats how bad we are right now.

I predict us struggling to break them down, not being able to finish chances when we do, and them nicking an unlikely goal.

To change the result of a game, you need to change your squad. Ol' reliables ain't so reliable when you've had your worst start to a season for 16 years.

Besides their goal being unlikely, I was spot on. And I'm crap at predictions. Crap. That's how predictable we are. No, sod the "we". It's not me, or you, it's Moyes.

Totally agree, if moyes persists with this mindset, we will finish 10-15th. We are so un-exciting to watch, I watch, I hope, then I shrug my shoulders in resignation. Moyes, give us a reason to want to watch!

too predictable on the pitch but also too cosy off it aswell perhaps ?

from the players to the manager to the chairman...... they all have it too cosy and nice.

people saying "what a great chairman , what a great manager , what a great squad " has led us to all walk round sniffing our own farts resting on our laurels safe in the knowledge that we must be great.

positions and results are being tacken for granted imo. from top to bottom , the club has to earn there status by working better and harder.becouse at the moment there only as good as that performance and 2 points.
