Are they showing this Over There? For those who have a soft spot for the Zombie Apocalypse, it's worth watching. It's certainly worth watching so that you can argue various points of proper comportment during said Apocalypse, ie - why, when there are tanks left parked hither and thither, survivors run around and dodge the Zombies on foot? Wouldn't it be smarter to get in the frigging tank?

Anyone can drive those damned things. Trust me. The concept of the American military is to make most things easy enough to operate by the simplest people. Put any fool into an M1 tank and give him thirty minutes and he'll be rolling - ideally he'll be rolling over the zombies.

How the hell did he get in the tank though when there was hundreds of zombies around? comes across as a little far fetched for me, even if zombies.

Also not keen on English actors playing American's - sounds false.

Funny fact: I've spent more time in Hollywood - and though this is filmed in Atlanta it's a Hollwood product - and there are more English expats in that industry than almost anyone else.

According to the logic of the story, he ran into the major population of zombies while exploring the city; they came at him and he ducked under the tank; all M1s have that bottom hatch and he was lucky it was open, etc etc.

He climbed under it and got in some open escape hatch in the undercarriage - just as he looked up, about to put a bullet in his head he saw the opening.

Best not to think about things too much, its just fun i guess.

And yeah, I always think that with english actors at first, but tend to forget after a bit. Never suspected McNulty and Stringer were english at all.

I'm loving it so far.

The ending to the fourth episode just came out of nowhere. Exciting, horrifying and then kind of sad too. Great show.

It's a good idea, mixing zombies with actual character development and real drama.

Most of us come from a Judeo Christian background that presupposes an End of Times. It is coded into us whether we are church going believers or not. There's a good reason why this sort of scenario is referred to as a Zombie apocalypse. That being said, we can then enjoy the development of the plot and the characters and recognize the reference frame of the End of Times.
