Homeland, overall, is far better than Walking Dead.

So, you have Brody about to undergo public execution in the centre of Tehran.

And you clearly believe a CIA analyst (remember, that's all she's supposed to be - NOT an operative) would blow her cover and start shouting out to him, scaling the fence etc?

It had already started to become far too fantastical, but that scene sealed it for me. Never again.

The Walking Dead has zombies in it.

Actually there's a programme better than ALLL of these, it's my favourite so it's the bestest, not telling tho...secret

Mate there are stupid moments in every single walking dead episode.

Homeland and The Walking Dead are pale imitations of their former selves.

But The Walking Dead is still watchable. Homeland threw away all it did so well after the first season. It became completely unrealistic; season 1 gripped me for its more believable take on a very current issue.

The Walking Dead is based on a graphic novel; I have no problems with it not being realistic, even within the confines of its own universe. I don't even mind the slow episodes -- if you want scares and action, watch a zombie film, this is a totally different take on the scenario. My biggest gripe with The Walking Dead now is actually the budget cuts. The make-up looks crappy compared to the earlier seasons.

The issue isn't that it has zombies in it.

It's the plot, dialogue, acting and how it insults the audiences' intelligence with its constant inconsistencies.

Cracking last episode....

really ? apart from the major thing that happened it was again pretty awful viewing with some of the worst acting yet.

"look at the flowers" - lame, just stupid little things like that which are meant to be deep/clever just come across as hammy/poorly executed.
