I think the first 2 zombies on ropes she had when she first appeared in the show, were her lover and their friend that were in the flashback.

yeah i get that, its just it was done so badly... this show has the worst writers ever.

the fact you have to ask worries me...

it was like some kind of bad comedy scene and as usual the writers completely hamfisted it as they are incapable of doing emotionally involving scenes because their writing and thus the acting is so embarrassingly bad.

I have seen your reply in the other thread, the acting is great especially by Andrew Lincoln (Rick) he is amazing. I think the child actors are pretty terrible though. I thought Michonne's scene was cleverly done and If you haven't teared up in this show before you have no heart.

i dont tear up because with the exception of Daryl the characters are all annoying dickheads (due to poor writing and acting), I'm routing for the zombies in every episode.

Andrew Lincoln IS indeed a good actor, not in this show though... he's dreadful, just look at his laughably bad overacting in the most recent episode. Some of the scenes with him and Carl were beyond cringeworthy, it was painful to watch.

Its now got to the point where i have no idea why I'm still watching it, i know its horrendous and pales in comparison to proper shows like true detective, boardwalk empire, breaking bad, the wire etc and yet i still watch it... presumably to see just how much worse the acting and writing can get.

So yeah, don't think we're gonna agree on this show

Haha maybe, although i think it's more a case of me having invested so much time into it that i feel the need to sit through it until the end, i did the same with Dexter despite it mostly sucking from about season 4 onwards.

Pretty much agree with all that

I have been on the verge many times of giving up on it then something will happen, like how great the last episode of series 3 was means I'll watch series 4.

For me they need to sort out how big a threat the zombies actually are. When you've got characters like Michone who can apparently fight a room full then it takes away from the dangers they're meant to be

Plus they have many irritating characters, Karl being the major irritant at the moment.

Agreed, I think they made a massive mistake with the zombies, they needed to be quicker and more threatening. They are just a sideshow now. I will carry on watching but they could have made it so much better.
