THE VAUGHAN ULTIMATUM

Vaughany can single handedly change games with his pace, power and work rate I would give him this season to have a good go at getting a place in the team or give him a chance to prove himself at least

I would loan out to the Geordies with right to recall and no sell on fee.
3 million isn't really much, and if he has an injury free year and fulfils some of his potential, how much will we kick ourselves. (big if, but still..)
I don't think it's worth the risk and to be honest I still rate him...

Didn't we turn down £5m from Stoke last month? I'd hate to see him leave, and don't think Moyes would be stupid enough to think that Jo, Saha and Yak will all go a whole year injury free. Let's not forget Yakubu is off to the ACN in January too.

A year's loan to the right club, with the right to recall, would work wonders for him. Not sure if Newcastle would be the right stage mind.

Loan him out with some clauses that the club borrowing him must agree to. 1, we have the right to take him back if our strikers get injured or suspended. 2, Unless injured Vaughan must start in at least 40% of the competitive games the club plays, or the club must pay a penalty fee. Would hate to see him leave on loan to just sit on the bench for another club.

Moyes is unlikely to give him his chance unless every other player is injured, and we know from past experience that he has opted to play without strikers in the past, which isn't a good sign for our young strikers.
Vaughan needs games if we are ever going to have the lads best interests at heart, and it is a win win situation to send him out on loan.
I don't like seeing players wasting away in the reserves or even on the bench when they are capable of fulfilling their potential elsewhere, and a season long loan for Vaughan and indeed Anichebe would give the lads a chance.
If they succeed, we either bring them back or make good money on them, but the player benefits at least.

It all depends on finding the best club for their loan opportunity.

TBH i would be happy to let him go. I know a few on her rate him. But not me. He's far to injury prone an when he does play does'nt do.

On another note, love the title thread!!!

I'd let him go too. I've said this in the past. Anichebe should go with him. I dont think either of them are gonna do much for us tbh. Dont get me wrong they both try hard but just dont have what it takes to wear the blue shirt.

Not a chance - he is where he should be after missing two years of his devleopment through injurey out on the training pitch - when hes shaprer he will be involved. Moyes wont sell him, he rates him highly have a look at what he said about him recently.

Makes me smile sometimes people bang on about strength in depth and then want us to sell anyone not getting in the team. If clubs have pormiseing young players (England U21) why sell them? Its about options and having a strong squad, Vaghan has already porved he can do it in the PL - he had a good finish to last campaign to for me - quality player who will i would think rightfully take his chance when it comes along in one of many games we are to play this season - ready i beleive to take perhaps Jo's spot next year.

If last year thought us anything it has to be that you can never have to many strikers.

I Agree that Victor should be sold for the right price ,but would give Vaughan another season unless a really good offer was made(y)

I have said it before, but the energy Vauhany uses on the pitch gets the fans going, we havent had a striker who would run themselves to the ground since AJ left and he was not replaced. If the loan is for a month then fair enough let the lad lernhow to walk before he can run, better getting Championsip experience then making the step up if possible as long as there isnt an option to buy or whatever, I see a lot of potential in Vaughan (more than Anichebe) but he needs minutes but also needs to stay out of the treatment room
