Erm, no not really. It's well known that numerous fighters including Rory McRonald have flat out refused to fight Hector Lombard.

I did mean because of the weight cutting thing, though.

Think it's obvious now why he refused to fight Lombard though, GSP and his boys are pure anti-PEDs.

Mendes would destroy him with his grappling though, in a way I'm glad because at least we get so see Aldo/McGregor because it'll be a striking spectacle. Got a feeling Siver will win with a submission though, think McGregor's prediction will backfire as he'll end up rushing.

I probably hadn't heard of it till last week for all you know, ye ufc hipster, but that's not true either. At least your fare enough to concede that Mcgregor only had two weeks to prepare for Mendes after months of studying Aldo

Why the Mcgregor hate? I don't think he is a bell I think he is brilliant in how he conducts himself he talks the talk and walks the walk. He does what he says he is going to do and says what is on his mind. A bell is some one who does the opposite of that.

And even if you could convince me he is a bell at the end of the day whatever goes on outside the octagon has nothing to do with who deserves to win.

Love McGregor. Hell of an event last night. Woke up as the third to last fight started and stayed up to watch it all.

He reminds me somewhat of the Diaz brothers except slightly less bellish. Was nervous every time he dropped his guard but made up when he won it. Perfectly timed knuckle ball to end it was amazing.

What a night of fights that was! McGregor is the real deal. Be interesting if the fight with Aldo ever happens. The UFC will definitely push for it, but I reckon Aldo will have to move up to LW. McGregor does what he says, looked like both guys had a massive adrenaline dump in the first, Conor didn't seem focussed til those big elbows. So much pressure on his shoulders going in to that.

Lawler vs Rory was insane, his lip was tough to watch in the interviewto be fair. Rory didn't stick to the plan, that's why GSP was always so good, bar the Dan Hardy fight and the first Hughes one he always stuck 100% to the game plan.

Some crazy knees and good to see Gunnar Nelson back on winning form, great combination.

Sonnen destroyed the greatest ever for 4 1/2 rounds, McGregor won't get close to doing that to Aldo (or Mendes).

Think McGregor vs Aldo will actually be a lightweight bout now, both of them have horrific weight cuts anyway without a ban on IVs that's coming in.

Yeah after watching that last night I think it'll be an extremely tight fight. Think it could come down to Aldo's BJJ, don't think it'll be enough though.

Looking like it'll be McG vs Edgar first though, which is an equally tough fight, if not tougher.

Don't listen to Joe Rogan, I do like Frankie but he doesn't carry the power or chin of Mendes.

I honestly believed Mendes was his toughest fight at FW, still some great fights to look forward to.

Gutted I didn't go to Vegas for this now.
