I'd put them all on a par to be honest, Jones probably has the most impressive record of them all, technically no losses and beat a lot of contenders in their prime.

GSP has the best record IMO. He dominated every round of every fight pretty much, until his knee injury. To the point where people had nothing for him and the division was completely cleaned out. GSP certainly benfitted from the great rivalry with Hughes and Penn though.

Jones has dominated most of his fights as well, but the fight vs Gus was close, and DC had a chance had he have been better prepared. Jones has fell out at the wrong time because a heated rivalry and further victories over those 2 fighters along with beating Rumble would have elevated him to the top for sure.

Jones deserves everything that happens to him. His behaviour over the past few years has been appalling and it's about time the UFC came down hard on him instead molly-coddling because he's a big star.

He shouldn't be recognised at the champ anymore either. This isn't like when Muhammed Ali was stripped his title, that was for BS reasons. This however is for legitimate reasons, he's gotten himself into so much trouble outside of the cage that he can't fulfill his obligations to defend the belt. If you can't defend the belt, you can't call yourself champion anymore.

Mauled? It's been a while but I remember that being an awful fight with hardly any action. Much like every Phil Davis fight to be fair.

Henderson was taken down at will by Jake Shields, he's far from a wrestler these days, just a walking H Bomb.

I'm not convinced Cormier will have it all his own way against Rumble, but he certainly has a better chance than he did against Jones. I think Rumble had a better chance against Jones than he does against DC.
It was atrocious you're right; I meant in the wrestling department. Rashad took him down at will.

Yeah I think Cormier was always gonna be second best in the division and this is his only chance of getting the belt, he's defo capable of beating AJ unlike Jones.

Can't pick a clear favourite really. Cerrone might surprise him with a triangle or armbar from guard if Khabib's not careful. All depends on how Khabib is after the injury for me. If he's the same as beforehand he wins I think.

Either way I hope it's a god fight and not as you say, which would be a big let down considering how entertaining Cerrone is.
Khabib's now out of the fight, ffs

They've got some serious issue with injuries, PEDs and drugs tarnishing the sport lately. For about 18 months now, the fights and cards have been changing on a regular basis.

Hopefully Cerrone stays on the card and they get him a worthwhile opponent.

Melendez maybe?

Big card this weekend.

AJ and Weidman will win the main events I reckon

Arlovski v Browne was incredible viewing. Great slugfest. Shame it only lasted a round though. Both fighters were knocked down before Arlovski rallied to a TKO... all in round 1. Insane really. How Browne managed to recover enough to knock Arlovski on his arse I will never know. Arlovski rocked him early and Browne was hurting bad. Only lasted 1 round but was superb. One of the best rounds I've seen in UFC... credit to both fighters.

Fight of the night surely

Looking forward to this Johnson fight. Really wanted it to be him and Jones though. Johnson is going places.... think he will be too much for Cormier

Cerrone will surely get a title shot now. 8th victory in a row. Broke Makdessi's jaw. Niceeeeee !

Wow. Surprised by that. It was the only way Cormier was going to win though. Tried to take him down time after time. .... and that's why.
