UFC 187 looks the best card in a LONG time. Johnson vs Jones, Nurmagamedov vs Cerrone and Weidman vs Belfort are all ridiculously exciting fights.
Sadly a lot will depend on Khabib and Weidman staying injury free as well as how Belfort copes without TRT.

Not a great fan of this tbh,think somebody is going to get seriously hurt one day, but anyone else wouldn't be too upset to see this Conor McGregor fella gets beaten,he needs to be bought down a peg or two imo.There's huge hype in ROI on him and he is just coming across as an arrogant,rude,disrespectful man. Not doing the sport any favours I don't think anyway.

I hope he wins as well, why would anyone want him to lose this? Aldo has been champ for a while and never really drawn any decent numbers. McGregor can open up the division for some great fights. There are people in work and on social media who are talking about this fight who haven't even watched any UFC fights before. Did you see the presser yesterday from Ireland? This is going to be massive.

Aye so was I. I love the bantamweight division, just a shame it hasn't got the depth of the heavier ones (except heavyweight of course).
And I want McGregor to lose because he's an absolute helmet. I think Mendes would beat him.

Either way this fight goes, it will still be entertaining. Connor is a cocky get, but he is an amazing fighter and he certainly has got people talking, which is definitely a good thing for the sport. It would be funny if connor gets beat and make himself look like an idiot, but on the other hand the yanks despise him and would be funny to what them fume, kind of like when United play liverpool, at least one of them are gonna get beat (unless its a draw) and in this case be proven wrong.

The first fight was good, but that early punch changed the whole complexion of it. I was interested to see them do it again and see if it played out differently.
I honestly don't mind McGregor, he's actually quite entertaining and I'd much rather see the build up to one of his fights than the build up to a lot of the Brazilian fighters who can't speak English. Whether he can walk the walk or not remains to be seen, but promoting fights is all about getting people emotionally involved and he's certainly doing that. Also when Aldo gets fired up he tends to go ultra aggressive, so there could be fireworks!
