Ball and Linekar were before my time, and I don't understand the Arteta thing tbh.

He was fantastic for us, prior to his injury. Probably the best and most exciting player I've seen in an Everton shirt tbh (maybe bar Rooney but we didn't see enough of him).
But after his injury, he was nowhere near as good and was just a Spanish Rodwell with his crab like performances. Hence why he's had to reinvent himself as a deep lying player, rather than tricky attacker. I honestly can't say I was bothered about getting £10m for a 29 year old.

Ball out of those, but was deverstated when kendal left as a player was my fav.
lineker was bad but it was in the papers for weeks before the world cup, had to watch him banging them in thinking why didnt we wait till after it to agree a fee, typically everton

Saddened -Arteta loved him and he cemented me as an Everton fan for life. Started following Everton when McBride came on loan. But his goal against fiorentina and goodison shaking was the clincher.

Shocked was Lukaku. Just remember shaking my head is disbelief! Happily!

Ball was before my time, Lineker didn't really bother me as I was just annoyed about losing the league and cup to the RS so couldn't care less.
Rooney and Arteta were talked about leaving so much before they actually did it just seemed inevitable.

Kanchelskis hurt but I always felt he shouldn't have even been at Everton as he was so much better than we should have been able to sign at the point in time.
Barmby just made me hate the little greasy rat

The one that absolute gutted me was big Dunc. He loved the club and the club loved him.
