Re-writing history there mate. Sure, he missed a handful but the major problem was our abject lack of creativity. Le hoof to Felli was not a good plan A for anyone, least of all Jelavic. By the time we got it back down on the floor, Jelavic's confidence was shot to bits and Anichebe was starting games.

15 goals in his first 25 appearances for us. That's five times as many goals as Kone scored between Sept 2007 and September 2011. Just saying.

That's all well and good trying to make stats fit into your argument, but if we're dealing with the here & now Kone scored 5 more than him last season and didn't look like absolute horse-sh*t.

If we're going to point to stats from 6 seasons ago we might as well get Yakubu back and see if he can be bothered this time.

yes finishing is his main strength. Hes kinda like a poor mans' Huntelaar (but with a great work rate)
