Was overwhelmingly happy with that Will Hughes fake twitter thing, he'll be some player. But not near ready for our first team and he'd cost to much of our budget as a player who would sit on the bench.

I heard we were priced out of a move for Ba when he left West Ham because of his wage demands. I'd imagine his wages would be extortionate now that he's at Chelsea.

I've been doing my daily rounds of looking at players who I would love for us to sign, even though I know rightly we will never sign them. Found this lad, Alen Halilović, who got his first Croatia cap this season at just 17 years old. Done a bit of research and he's touted to be bloody brilliant.

Got me thinking, why do we never sign young foreigners? Teams in Italy and Germany always bring in young lads from abroad and they always go on to be great players, there is like a reluctance in England and in particular Everton.

Saying that, never seen him play nor know much about his style of play. Would still be nice for a 'wonderkid' to sign on.
