Seeing some of the transfers being rumoured at the moment I wouldnt mind Darren Bent £6m, Nani £8.5m and Alcaraz (Free) in with Heitinga going out...

The increase in PL TV money will allow the increase in wages plus the Heitinga transfer money would near enough cover the Bent transfer fee

Nani is awful.

Darren Bent £6 million?? Are you sure? Thought he'd be double that.

Bent at 6m is well worth the gamble. looks sharp even coming off the bench for a club who don't want him. can't see him getting less than 15 goals. I know it will be presented as getting a reject by some, but I reckon he will be worth double that once he gets a full season. where is that figure coming from?

Newcastle have bid £6 million for Bent. If there is not much else around, he'd be worth it. English as well, so definitely a good price. English players tend to cost more, as we know.

We can't afford to pay £6m plus for a 29 years old with no resell value after 2/3 years.

don't get this 'moneyball' thing if it ignores the fact that a player getting 15 to 20 goals for us over 3 seasons is worth at least 6 million whatever happens
