I know there's still time to buy players but we desperately need a Centre Midfielder now. Gibbo injured, Barkley inexperienced, Ossie and Pienaar getting older. Even if Felli stays we need someone now. Surely there are ample funds after this latest 'Sky' deal? It does seem as though we'll only buy someone if someone leaves. Annoying, given other teams are spending some of their TV money now.

To be fair mate we've spent a decent amount of it so far, and the window is far from being closed.

Not sure exactly how much we got (from Sky) but I was expecting (or hoping) for more of a spend than what we have so far. And by that I meant before the season started, not on 2/9/13.

I agree. I'm not daft enough to suddenly think we could have gone out and spent 20-25 million, but I was expecting a little more spent than we have.

I think there is some money left, nobody has said its all gone. But wether there is enough to bring in a player martinez thinks will improves us, that is another matter. Im sure martinez plans on adding 1-2 more before the windows shuts, also our performances in the first couple of games may make him move last minute instead of waiting till january.
