The Return of The Gibb

Summed him up perfectly from a defensive POV. I also think what he brings to our attack is underestimated.

Quite often he'll win the ball and quickly move it to a player in a good position to hurt the opposition, you don't get this with Neville and is a factor for us opening teams up a bit less lately.

Only issue is that he's never looked the fittest player about and may take more than a few games to get his match fitness back.

Once and for all we'll find out If Moyles really does love Neville more than life itself.

Got that right, I bet when he signed from United he didn't expect Evertonians To Love Somebody so much after such a short amount of time.

F*CKING BOOM!

How Deep Is Your Love for him?

I think he'll score on Saturday And The Sun Will Shine. Be a real Tragedy if he goes off injured again though.

This. We cant expect him to produce game-changing performances against the likes of City and Arsenal. Be nice if he was just involved as it'd get Neville out of there.

Nobody is asking him to produce game-changing performances, he's in there for a bit more stability. Surely even you cant put a negative twist on the fact that hes coming back to fitness

It's Davek.
He's not loved for being able to see the sunny side of life.

I'm not putting a negative spin on it. You just have to be realistic. That's the point. He's coming back after 6 weeks out. Hardly going to hit the ground running is he?

Dave's right. He's likely to be on the bench at first and come on for 20/25 mins max.

I fear that once he returns it wont be long before he is out again, and that will be the continual pattern of his Everton career, I hope I'm wrong.
