TFG obviously worried about the risk of Fonseca et al in a relegation battle. Went for the safe option.

Moyes will keep us up and we did play good football under him.

I would mostly agree, although I’d have taken a punt on Fonseca.

I’m at peace with wor Davie though.

We're not in position to attract a top manager, so getting someone who is significantly better is the most important thing.

I believe Moyes is a much better manager than Dyche. So I'm not going to argue with this decision.

Is it exciting? No

But do I believe he will improve the team? Yes

Would be a pragmatic move on a short term deal. He can hit the ground running and do the job he did previously moving away from the bottom and further up the league.

Far better appointment than a Southgate/Potter type in my view

It won’t be on a short term deal. There will be calls for him to stay and prolong yet another monotonous existence.

Agree, I would’ve liked him, but I’m not massively upset by Moyes coming back especially if Southgate was a contender!

I can understand the reasons for not wanting Moyes, but its not like re-hiring Benitez !
