To rebuild a squad there has to be money generated from transfer fees and saved by releasing wages.

To assess where we are in the rebuild, how many of the players listed do you feel should be part of a 23 man squad in the 2023/24 season?

Times are tough but the club are in big need of a rebuild. We can’t have a rebuild with a new manager / DOF every season.

Lampard coming in during last season was all about staying up, his ‘rebuild’ began in August.

Luckily there’s a break now but he’ll have to improve results. He needs more than one window to get out crap and sign better though.

Squad is hugely unbalanced.

If huge bids come in for Pickford, Gordon and DCL, I’d sell them. Then reinvest the money into the squad.

Id be looking at a decent Premier League goalie, two full backs (either starters or backups), two or three wide players and a couple of strikers.

We also have Mills & Cannon coming through in the forward positions, plus Warrington, Dobbin, Broadhead & Simms on loan as backups.

If huge bids come in for Pickford, Gordon and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, I’d sell them. Then reinvest the money into the squad.

You would probably get decent money for Pickford as Man United would most likely take him. You missed your chance to sell Gordon at well over what he is worth in the Summer, he now has more yellow cards this season than goals and assists in his Everton career, DCL is an average forward with injury issues, can't see anyone taking a punt on him unless for a low fee.
