Don't know how true it is, but this reminds me of a story about a Univesity Lecturer giving a talk to Secondary school students and saying something along the lines of:

"'Sugar' is the only word in the English language that uses 'SU' to make the 'Shhh' sound".

One of the young students shouted out:
