Haha, an Azerbaijan boxer is fighting the current world champion in the super heavy. Apparently he had to get a wild card entry because he had to leave the qualifiers as they couldn't find a headguard big enough to fit him.

That said he's battering the world champ. Had to do a standing count in the first and he's winning 8 1 on points.

Ah no got it mixed up. The Azerbaijan one was the WC but it was the lad he was battering who had the fat head. Called it off 2nd round as the guy's custom built headguard flew off! He got annihilated.

Come on Wiggo, gold and Froome for silver or bronze. Harsh on Sanchez that chain snap on the release.
Made up for the girls getting gold in the rowing earlier and the men picked up a bronze to.

Anyway the shooting is hardly middle-class. It's just a glorified side stand at southport fair. Instead of getting a gold medal if they win they get a goldfish and a teddybear.

Boss free kick for Brazil. Right across goal and two Brazilians missed it but the last one slotted. Baines would be proud.

Just to recap here, if Wiggins does win this, his last 12 months will have included:

3rd at Vuelta
2nd at World TT
1st at Paris Nice
1st at Tour Romandie
1st at Dauphine
1st at Tour de France
1st (?) at Olympic TT, which makes him the Brit with most medals at the Olympics.

That's an incredible year. Simply incredible.

Looks like being Wiggins, Martin, Froome as 1,2,3 here. Strange how far Cancellara has slipped in terms of time trialling.

Hes the one that came off into the barrier the other day. And hes been top time trialer for years it cant last forever or Indurain would still be sweeping them up.

BBC sports personality of the year. Finally someone with a personality gets it.

Speaking of shooting, Kim Jamgmi has just won gold(fish) for South Korea.

I'd be boss at that. She is only 19 as well.
