WWE and TNA Legend Kurt Angle was going to try out for the US wrestling team this time round after previously winning in Atlanta (I think). However, he injured himself so couldn't compete. Had he have qualified he would have been in with a medal shout for sure as he can actually wrestle. Arguably the greatest wrestler of all time.

yeah, i saw that before. when i use to watch wwf i thought his gold medal was made up, thought it was just a play up of his character. i am still yet to see wrestling ever in the olympics

Hockey is something that impresses me because it's like playing football except you have to control something a hell of a lot smaller, using a stick instead of your own leg. Must be very tough to play at a high tempo.

Our teachers trialled hockey in school and it ended up with everyone just wacking their enemies in the shins, then they tried Softball untill my mate knocked a lid out cold by smashing a softball into his grid with a frankly excellent swing. Afterwards they set up a rugby team and we had a tournament in Widnes which ended up as a mass brawl cause the wools were taking the piss, we got banned from competing as they said we instigated it. In the end we just played footie from then on and occasionally athletics.
