The corpy held quite a bit of money in the office back then, rate and rent receipts etc which many citizens paid in cash. Very large safe to hold it all.…..thinking back, must’ve been a huge security risk with so much cash on the premises.

Fond memories - only came out on special occasions but the fam all took part as they were mostly followers of the Geegees! Made quite a racket as well as the damaging clamps.
