Ha ha, it cost me 400 quid and had worked as hard as chico's mar but it got me around for a short while.

my first car was a Fiat Tipo 1.4 sport................ they should have left the o off the name ffs.
I remember driving down the M53 in one of those, anyway we had not shut the bonnet properly and when we got to about 55mph the bonnet flew open and pretty much wrapped itself around the windscreen meaning we were driving blind!
Scary stuff, no accident fortunately!
All my cars have been Fords, with the exception of my Vauxhall Corsa 1.6 Turbo Diesel. Nippy little runner that one. Got stolen from outside my sisters house in Ellesmere Port the early hours of the Cup Final vs Chelsea. Two , well-known to the cops, scrotes decided to drive it to Chester at 2am. Got caught, 6 mths in jail . B@stards. Stole me and the lads Everton jackets, too

I know. My brother knew one of the scrotes dads. Kopites ffs !!!!. The thing that annoyed the copper , and me , was the fact there was a child-seat in the back. The two scrotes had also, that weekend ,stolen a car off somebody who got revenge.

I actually thought " Why didnt the bizzies just nick him as soon as he drove off ??" But clearly there was more to that lad than what was seen on telly.

I'm not that old myself ha ha ...I just love the old boy racer cars...any discussion on boy racer cars has to include both these..
HAHAHA Had a 1970 GT, bored it out to 1293, race cam, twim 45 webber's and a close ratio box, was flippin quick off the mark, limited at top end but round corners on rails. I also co-drove a rally 1340cc GT that was dramatically lightened, now that was much quicker.
Also had a Nova 1.3SR followed by a 1.4SR they were pretty close to a real mini successor.
I also had a Cavalier GSi that got stolen in Bootle (surprise, surprise)
That was the end of boy racerdom until the 2009 WRX in Mica Blue complete with Ebepton stickers I currently drive.
